To start a paper i lime to brainstorm first by using diagrams and charts. These help me plan out my thoughts and ideas to convert them into topics of interest and importance for the paper. Next I start a rough draft keeping in mind the previous ideas. Normally I use the 5 paragraph layout for a paper; intro, 3 supporting details, and conclusion. I prefer to type on the computer for a final draft but to write out the flow charts and rough draft. I tend to revise my work often and like to have peers proofread my papers to give constructive criticism. Typically i work well under pressure and tend to type out a final draft all at once to gather my thoughts completely and thoroughly. I would like to improve my writing by using better analysis techniques and citing sources more easily.
